FURCOAT 299

FURCOAT 299 is a high-performance thermoplastic powder coating, also known as thermoplastic powder paint, based on acid-modified polyolefin technology. It is specifically developed for Electrostatic (ES) and Flock Spraying (FS) applications and can also be produced for fluidized bed systems upon request.

Engineered for superior performance, FURCOAT 299 provides excellent adhesion to metal surfaces, delivering outstanding corrosion protection without the need for galvanization or primer. This feature enables both process efficiency and cost advantages while ensuring long-term durability.

Designed to perform in the most demanding environments, the coating offers exceptional flexibility with 750–800% elongation, maintaining integrity without cracking or breaking—even under rapid temperature fluctuations from +60°C to -60°C within 24 hours.

Among alternative coating systems, FURCOAT 299 stands out with the privilege of achieving Category C-5 classification according to ISO 12944 in a single coat (certificates available upon request).
